Magnesium oxide (MgO) is used mostly as superconductor thin film substrate
as is Strontium titanate (SrTiO3).
With mainly Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system, it is used for research subject. While
it is also used for optical windows and pyroelectric infrared sensors.
It is reacted with in air and water or CO2, strage should be careful.
